THT plug-in tabs (Through-Hole Technology) are electromechanical components commonly used in PCB assembly. They are typically rectangular in shape, available in straight or angled variants. The plug-in tabs have one or more pins that are inserted through a hole in the PCB and soldered. The plug area can be designed according to DIN standards or customer requirements. Various plug widths are available. THT plug-in tabs are generally more robust than SMD variants and are particularly used in areas where extreme environmental conditions, vibrations, or high currents may occur.
